Lori McFadden

Sales Associate

Lori was first licensed as a real estate agent in Sacramento, California in 1990, where she worked the residential market for two years. However, she soon became intrigued by the complexities of investing in and developing rural land and took on her first project. Since then, she’s had over twenty years of experience in real estate markets in three states, mainly buying and selling rural properties for investment purposes. More recently, she’s become a licensed Realtor®–first in Texas, then New Mexico—and has enjoyed the real estate opportunities that keep her busy in both states. Lori is also a member of both the national REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) and the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB). In central Texas, Lori has enjoyed the challenge of helping relocation clients, and serving the traditional needs of Buyers and Sellers. In order to better serve client needs, she’s a member of three MLS systems: Four Rivers Association of Realtors® (FRAR), Austin Board of Realtors® (ABOR) and San Antonio Board of Realtors® (SABOR). She considers it a real privilege to participate in achieving the goals of her clients, and every transaction is measured in terms of the friendships formed.

Background:
Lori and her husband, Don, grew up and married near Vancouver, Canada, then emigrated to California, where they were blessed with three daughters over the years. In 2004, she graduated summa cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi, with a B.A. in Communications from CA State University, Sacramento. In 2005, their family moved to the Texas Hill Country—for two years in west Austin, then to acreage outside San Marcos. Don (CPA, MBA) retired several years ago from his work as an institutional money manager, and now contributes an unusual mix of business acumen, marketing aptitude, photography/digital media ability and computer skills in order to support Lori’s efforts to meet client needs.

Besides real estate, Lori treasures time to grow in her faith, share her knowledge about alternative health, and spend time with family and friends. Outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, hiking, hunting and wildlife management work are also high on her list for enjoyment.
