Only 4% of consumers access their credit report that, by law, is free each year. That means 96% of people never take advantage of the opportunity to review their credit history…which is unfortunate as it’s such an important factor when purchasing property!

To obtain your free report, go to The report won’t have a score, so to get that you will need to purchase it from one of the three major reporting agencies: ExperianEquifax or TransUnion. As an alternative, you can go to to obtain an estimated score from FICO (Fair Isaac Corporation) at no charge.
